However, if your group is simply interested in just sending out Garda text alerts then we excel in this area. Most groups are happy to use this website to manage their subscriber database (i.e. phone numbers) and to issue the occasional alert. Meanwhile the majority of groups are happy to let the system run in the background, by letting Gardaí issue crime alerts when required. CommunityAlerts.ie provides these basic features as standard, and groups aren't expected to avail of all our additional add-on features. We provide advanced functionality to groups who have requested various features from time to time, and this adds to our overall service offering. However, our advice for new groups is to keep things simple until you are happy to start extending your Text Alert with exciting range of additional features.
